The Widowmaker
The P1 is undoubtedly one of the most expensive hypercars on the planet. With an active rear wing air is moved in the most efficient way possible. Production price is marked at 1.15 million dollars. Many feel the shape of the car is not immediately appealing, looking like somewhat of a melted ice-cream cone. But once you understand the reason for the shape you realize the molding panels produce 1300+ pounds of downforce at 160 mph. When McLaren built this car, they re-innovated the engine. The car uses a twin turbo V8 engine assisted by a totally separate electronic engine over the front axle. This combination of design and innovation make this car one of the most practical street legal race cars to date.

I'm not a big fan of the name of this car, but tell us about it. What is so great? We could use a little explanation. Why do you love this car?
